2. Not legal advice

PlainDPDP is a self-help template kit, not a law firm. We are not advocates enrolled in India and we do not give legal advice. The readiness check, the generator and the templates are general information based on our reading of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. They may contain errors, may not fit your business, and may become out of date when the law, the Rules or the Board's guidance change. You decide what to publish and remain responsible for your compliance. For advice on your situation, consult an advocate or a qualified professional in India.

3. Free tools

You may use the free tools and the notices they generate for your own business or your clients, without attribution. They are provided as they are, without any warranty.

Joining early access is free and does not commit you to buy. No payment is taken on this site at present. If we open sales, the price, taxes and terms will be shown before any payment, and the price shown when you joined will be honoured for your first purchase.

These terms are governed by French law. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory law of your country.
