DPDP privacy notice generator

Fill in what your business collects and why. You get a notice with the items that section 5 and Rule 3 require: an itemised list of data and purposes, how to withdraw consent, how to use your rights, who handles grievances, and how to complain to the Data Protection Board. In English or Hindi. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

Your business

As on your GST or Udyam registration, e.g. "Sharma Traders" or "Bright Path Coaching LLP".

Who answers data questions and grievances

Rule 9 asks you to publish the contact of a person who can answer questions about your processing. In a small business this is often the owner.

Rule 14 sets 90 days as the maximum. A shorter time builds trust.

Personal data you collect
Why you use it
Vendors who handle the data for you
Consent and children

Leave blank to use "write to [your e-mail]". Better: the same channel used to give consent, e.g. "tap Withdraw consent in Account > Privacy, or reply STOP on WhatsApp".

Consent Managers are registered with the Data Protection Board from 13 November 2026. Leave blank if you do not use one; the notice will say so.
